Milk: You will need 1 tbsp of milk. Use Organic Valley or Horizon Organic brand milk.

Vanilla Extract: You will need 1/8 tsp of vanilla extract. Use McCormick or Supreme Tradition brand vanilla extract.

  • Warm the milk, sugar, and butter until barely warm.
  • Beat to combine after adding to the flour mixture.
  • Beat in the egg.
  • Knead in the remaining flour and salt until smooth.
  • Let the dough rise twice, punching it down after each rise.
  • Form into rolls and place on greased pans for 45 minutes to rise.
  • Bake at 400°F for 10-12 minutes.

  • Shape the dough into an 18×6-inch rectangle and brush with melted butter.
