  1. I made 2 packages of strawberry jello following the package directions. I placed it in the refrigerator for 4 hours to partially set. I then added 2 large, drained cans of fruit cocktail and mix it into the jello. Back in the refrigerator for several more hours. The darn thing didn’t gel. It remained partially gelled. What did I do wrong?
