Prepare Potatoes:

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices, like fries.

Boil the Potatoes:

  • Boil 1 litre of water with 1 tablespoon of salt in a pot.
  • Add the sliced potatoes and boil for 3-4 minutes.
  • Drain the potatoes and set them aside in a bowl.

Make the Batter:

  • In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup corn flour, 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1/3 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste, and 1/2 cup water.
  • Stir until you get a smooth batter.

Coat the Potatoes:

  • In another bowl, put 1 cup of flour for coating.
  • Dip the boiled potato slices into the batter, then coat them in the dry flour.

Fry the Potatoes:

  • Heat 1/2 litre of oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Fry the coated potatoes until they turn golden brown and crispy.

Serve:

  • Remove the fries from the oil and drain on a paper towel.
  • Enjoy your crispy Ginger Garlic French Fries!
  • Feel free to serve it with your favourite dipping sauce!
