Ginger Garlic French Fries are a tasty twist on regular fries, packed with the bold flavours of ginger and garlic. These crispy, flavorful fries are easy to make at home.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices, like fries.
Boil the Potatoes:
Boil 1 litre of water with 1 tablespoon of salt in a pot.
Add the sliced potatoes and boil for 3-4 minutes.
Drain the potatoes and set them aside in a bowl.
Make the Batter:
In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup corn flour, 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1/3 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste, and 1/2 cup water.
Stir until you get a smooth batter.
Coat the Potatoes:
In another bowl, put 1 cup of flour for coating.
Dip the boiled potato slices into the batter, then coat them in the dry flour.
Fry the Potatoes:
Heat 1/2 litre of oil in a pan over medium heat.
Fry the coated potatoes until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
Remove the fries from the oil and drain on a paper towel.
