Ingredients
  

  • 24 oz imitation crab meat shredded
  • 24 oz salad shrimp
  • 6 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Mrs. Dash Original Seasoning to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 ½ teaspoons lemon juice optional

For Sandwich Assembly:

  • 6 slices American cheese optional
  • 6 6-inch bread loaves
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Pickles
  • Olives
  • Cucumbers

Instructions
 

  • Shred and finely chop the imitation crab meat into small pieces using a knife. Place it in a large mixing bowl.
  • Step 2: Add Shrimp
  • Add the salad shrimp to the bowl. If the shrimp are large, chop them into smaller pieces.
  • Step 3: Mix the Filling
  • Add mayonnaise, Mrs. Dash seasoning, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice (if using). Mix everything thoroughly until creamy and well combined.
  • Step 4: Chill the Mixture
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1½ hours. This step helps the flavors blend together and improves the texture.
  • Step 5: Prepare the Bread
  • Slice each 6-inch bread loaf open lengthwise.
  • Step 6: Assemble the Sandwich
  • Spoon a generous amount of seafood salad into each loaf. Add cheese if desired.
  • Step 7: Add Vegetables
  • Top with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, olives, cucumbers, or any vegetables you prefer.
  • Step 8: Season and Serve
  • Sprinkle extra salt and pepper if needed. Close the sandwich and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Always chill the seafood mixture before serving for the best flavor.
Use fresh shrimp for better texture and taste.
If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can add a small pinch of sugar.
