Prepare the Milk Mixture:

  • In a bowl, mix 1/3 cup warm milk, 1/3 cup warm water, 1 teaspoon yeast, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 tablespoon sugar.
  • Stir well and let the mixture sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes foamy.

Make the Dough:

  • In a large bowl, add 2 cups of flour.
  • Pour the frothy milk mixture into the flour.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of oil and mix well.
  • Knead the dough for about 1 minute until it becomes smooth.

Let the Dough Rest:

  • Add 1 tablespoon of oil on top of the dough to keep it moist.
  • Cover the bowl with a clean cloth or plastic wrap and let it sit in a warm place for 1 hour to rise.

Shape the Flatbreads:

  • Once the dough has doubled in size, divide it into 4 equal parts.
  • Roll each part into a flat, round shape with a rolling pin.

Cook the Flatbreads:

  • Heat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat.
  • Cook each flatbread for about 2-3 minutes on each side until both sides are golden brown.

Final Touch:

  • Spread butter on the hot flatbreads and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
