Cook the Spaghetti:

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  • Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package directions (usually 8-10 minutes).
  • Drain the cooked spaghetti in a colander, then mix in a bit of oil to prevent sticking and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce:

  • While the spaghetti is cooking, mince the garlic and chop the onions.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
  • Once the butter is melted and bubbly, add the minced garlic and chopped onions.
  • Sauté until they are soft and fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  • Stir and mix the sauce well for about 30 seconds.

  • Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet.

  • Sprinkle the ground black pepper and fresh chopped oregano leaves over the pasta.
