Cook the Spaghetti: Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package directions (usually 8-10 minutes).
Drain the cooked spaghetti in a colander, then mix in a bit of oil to prevent sticking and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce: While the spaghetti is cooking, mince the garlic and chop the onions.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
Once the butter is melted and bubbly, add the minced garlic and chopped onions.
Sauté until they are soft and fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Make the Sauce: Add the oyster sauce, white sugar, soy sauce, and water to the skillet.
Stir and mix the sauce well for about 30 seconds.
Combine Spaghetti and Sauce: Finish and Serve: Sprinkle the ground black pepper and fresh chopped oregano leaves over the pasta.
Stir gently to combine all the flavours.
Serve the garlic spaghetti hot, optionally garnished with any reserved sliced green onions.
Enjoy your Easy Garlic Spaghetti as a flavorful side dish or a main course!
