Learn how to make Cuban Oregano Tea in just 10 minutes with fresh leaves, ginger, and tea powder. A simple, soothing herbal drink perfect for cough and cold relief.
Take 6 fresh Cuban oregano leaves. Wash them well under running water to remove any dirt. Crush them gently using your hands or a mortar and pestle. This helps release their natural oils and flavor.
Add 1 1/4 cup of water to a tea pan or small pot. Place it on the stove and bring it to a boil.
Once the water starts boiling, add:
Crushed Cuban oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon tea powder
1/2 teaspoon crushed ginger
1 teaspoon sugar
Stir gently.
Let the mixture boil for about 5 minutes. This allows all the flavors to mix well and become strong and aromatic.
