Instructions

Prepare the Sugar Rim:

  • Mix the sugar and lemon zest on a plate.
  • Rub a lemon wedge around the rim of your martini glass.
  • Dip the rim into the sugar mixture to coat it evenly.
  • Place the glass in the freezer to chill.

Muddle the Raspberry Mixture:

  • In a small glass, add:
  • Fresh raspberries
  • Mint leaves
  • Lemon juice
  • Simple syrup
  • Use a muddler to gently crush everything together. This releases the raspberry juice and mint flavor.

Shake the Cocktail

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add vodka and triple sec.
  • Strain the raspberry mixture into the shaker.
  • Shake well for about 20 seconds until chilled.

Strain and Serve:

  • Take the chilled martini glass from the freezer.
  • Strain the cocktail into the glass.
  • Garnish with a lemon wheel.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Always chill your glass for the best restaurant-style experience.
Fresh lemon juice makes a big difference in taste.
Do not over-muddle the mint, or it may become bitter.
Adjust sweetness by adding slightly more simple syrup if needed.
