Non-Stick Cooking Spray
Instructions
In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil.
Cook until the white onions and red bell peppers are tender, then add the ground beef and brown it.
While the ground beef, onions, and bell peppers are cooking, spray the roasting pan with nonstick spray.
In the roasting pan, place the beans.
Add the BBQ sauce, mustard, Worcestershire, hot sauce, jalapenos, salt, and black pepper.
Add beef mixture and stir well.
Top with chopped bacon and bake for 2 hours, covered, at 300°F.
The flavors blend together better the longer it bakes.
Enjoy Bradshaw Beans with your family.
Notes
Terry's note: For simple cleanup, I prefer to cook the beans in a foil roasting pan.
