Turn oven temperature to 350 degrees.
Using a stand mixer, beat the salted butter and granulated and brown sugars until creamy.
Add the egg and mix until they are well combined.
Add Pure Vanilla Extract; mix to combine.
In another bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix in the butter mixture.
Add the chocolate morsels and mix very well.
Approximately 2 inches apart, drop rounded teaspoonfuls of batter onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are crisp and golden brown.
To cool, transfer to wire racks.
