Spread ¾ cup sauce on the bottom of the pan.
Place 3 uncooked oven-ready lasagna sheets on top.
Spread ⅓ of the cheese mixture.
Add ¼ of the sauce.
Repeat layers (noodles, cheese mixture, sauce) until ingredients are used.
Final layer:
3 lasagna sheets
Remaining sauce
1 cup mozzarella
Remaining Parmesan cheese
If the sauce is thick, add ½ cup water around the edges of the pan.
Cover and Bake:
Spray aluminum foil with cooking spray and cover the pan (spray side down).
Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes.
Then bake uncovered for another 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. This helps it set properly.
