  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cover a baking sheet or grill tray with parchment paper. Place the bacon slices close together on the tray, making sure they don't overlap.
  • In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, red pepper flakes, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the bacon slices on the tray.
  • Put the bacon in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.
  • After 5 minutes, turn the baking sheet around for even cooking, then return it to the oven for another 5 minutes (total cooking time of 10 minutes).
  • Once the bacon is done, take it out of the oven and let it cool for 15-20 minutes before serving.
