  • In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil.
  • Cook until the white onions and red bell peppers are tender, then add the ground beef and brown it.
  • While the ground beef, onions, and bell peppers are cooking, spray the roasting pan with nonstick spray.
  • In the roasting pan, place the beans.
  • Add the BBQ sauce, mustard, Worcestershire, hot sauce, jalapenos, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add beef mixture and stir well.
  • Top with chopped bacon and bake for 2 hours, covered, at 300°F.
  • The flavors blend together better the longer it bakes.
  • Enjoy Bradshaw Beans with your family.

Notes

Terry's note: For simple cleanup, I prefer to cook the beans in a foil roasting pan.
