For Spaghetti:
- 1 ½ lb Uncooked Spaghetti
- 6 Quarts Water
- 3 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
For Bolognese Sauce:
Cook the pork, beef, and veal in a large pot over medium heat until browned.
Add the onion, garlic, celery, and carrots, and continue cooking until the vegetables have become tender.
Combine the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine, beef broth, black pepper, salt, nutmeg, and cloves in the pot.
Set to a low simmer and cook for at least two hours, stirring occasionally, or until the sauce has thickened.
Add the heavy cream and cook for an additional five minutes.
Your Bolognese sauce is ready to serve!
For Spaghetti:
In a big pot, heat up six quarts of water until it boils.
Add the salt, then add the uncooked spaghetti.
Stir constantly until the water comes back to a boil.
Cook for one minute shorter than the provided instructions.
Briefly strain and cool, but do not rinse. Toss with olive oil.
Transfer the spaghetti to a plate, as desired.
Serve the Harry Hamlin Bolognese over spaghetti!
