Instructions

  • To prepare the margarita strawberry fruit puree, start by cleaning and rinsing your blender to ensure it's ready for use.
  • In the cleaned blender, blend the fresh strawberries with 1 cup of ice, 2 1/2 oz of tequila, 1 1/2 oz of Dekuyper Cactus Juice, 1 tbsp of simple syrup, 1 1/2 oz of lime juice, and 1 oz of triple sec.
  • Blend until the mixture is smooth.
  • Pour the blended strawberry fruit puree into a pitcher or container and set it aside.
  • Clean the blender jar thoroughly before using it for the mango fruit puree.
  • In the cleaned blender, blend the diced frozen mango with 1 cup of ice, 2 1/2 oz of tequila, 1 1/2 oz of Dekuyper Cactus Juice, 1 tbsp of simple syrup, 1 1/2 oz of lime juice, and 1 oz of triple sec. Blend until the mixture is smooth and consistent.
  • Pour the blended fruit purees into two glasses, beginning with the strawberry puree as the first layer and then the mango puree as the second layer.
  • Garnish each glass with a lime wedge and an orange wedge to add a refreshing touch.
  • Now, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your Cheddars Maui Margarita with its delightful layers of flavors.

Notes

It is important to properly clean and rinse the blender before blending the fruit purees to ensure there are no residual flavors from previous blends.
The purees are layered in the glasses, with the strawberry puree being poured first, followed by the mango puree. This creates an appealing visual effect and allows you to enjoy the distinct flavors of both fruits.
Garnishing the glasses with lime and orange wedges adds a citrusy touch and enhances the overall presentation of the margarita.
Feel free to customize the recipe by adding a salt or sugar rim to the glasses or experimenting with different fruits for the purees.
Remember to enjoy this Cheddars Maui Margarita responsibly and in moderation.
